Suggestions For Best ROM: Fastest / Bug Free?

I unlocked a TP and uploaded the latest Energy ROM from Feb 16 with TF 2.5 but it's really slow when sending text messages and it appears that TF is just slow in general. Does anyone have any suggestions for a simple, fast and bug free ROM?

ive tried a couple of them and every single time i keep coming back to mightyrom6, its extremely fast and i havent had any issues w bugs or anything

You need to get SkiRom, I have used all of these Roms and they all suffer from bloatware. If you are looking for a basic ROM with tethering and not too much junk, dl the sense 2.1 version. 2.5 was ported over from the HD but isnt really made for landscape and requires more power. The 2.1 port supports landscape and runs super smooth. He also promised us a much needed update very soon.

Thanks, I'll look into those. I am thinking that Sense 2.5 is pretty slow for a TP, so will look at 2.1.

i'm running the 1/18 energyrom 2.1 and loving it. best i could find and i like to think i tried just about all of them. this i found to be the fastest with the best battery and the features i wanted (tweaks, remote desktop, etc.)

That's the key. I'm using a Sense 2.1 ROM from Energy too. All the Sense 2.5 ROMs are still somewhat buggy and slow.

Another thing is to make sure you're downloading the lower of the two build numbers when downloading an Energy ROM... or any ROM for that matter.

These lower number builds are official Windows Mobile 6.5 builds... the higher numbers are the "cutting edge" releases that aren't entirely official. They higher build numbers are the ones that have the Windows or "Start button" at the bottom instead of the top.

I was using a Sense 2.5 with the higher build from Energy, then flashed the Sense 2.1 lower build number to my sisters TP and when I saw how incredibly fast it ran, I flashed mine to the same ROM.

I have tried many roms and always returned to stock because of slowness or lockups. First I want a phone, second, texting, third, no hangups. I recently tried the nsfans rom 1.04 with sense 2.5. I have stuck with it for a week which is a record for me. It has locked up twice in the last week but not for a few days. It is very fast and very nice to look at. Might be worth a try.

I've tried a bunch, and I used the Energy ROMs for a while, but they were too buggy for me. Honestly, my favorite one is NFSFan's. I've been using it for a few weeks and other than a couple minor issues, it's been the best one so far.
