Did I Unlock or **** Up My Phone?

So my brother wanted me to unlock his phone and I dl'd the 0.37 hard spl (Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe) to unlock the telus phone. I had an active sync connection and then the ruu ran, but it lost communication and said there was a communication error. When I looked at the TP though it had a screen asking to run an unsigned program. I said yes and then the phone turned off and went to the tri colour screen and showed the following:

*red* security unlocked
Raph800
spl-0.37.0000
microp-hermann (led) v0c85
microp-hermann (key) v0685
psoc-raph stage_evt v20

So my question is that while it does say "security unlocked* AND 0.37 why does it not say CMONEX after it? Should I run it again or is it unlocked?

Re: Did I Unlock or **** Up My Phone?

you didnt unlock it yet.. it should say 0.37.CMONEX. When You see the tri color screen i think. did you try flashing your phone via sd card? if not try it. ill attach files drag the two files to your sd card and run SSPL_Manual.exe and it will tell you to press power to begin flashing

File Type: zip Unlocker With SSPL.zip (778.8 KB, 3 views) Click for barcode!

Yes, that file I listed. It lost connection halfway through it looks like because the file it dl'd didn't automatically execute. Not sure what's up with that or if I did something wrong.

hey thanks man. I reflashed from the computer and it worked this time. Not sure what the issue was before. I'll try the sd card method next time!

Just remember to format to fat 32 first, and used a memory card that is 1 gig. Works better.

Actually this is pretty common. Caught myself doing it a few times coming back from stock.

When you run the RUU on the stock Rom, the OS is in self protect mode. It detects a program trying to run, and asks for permission, ON THE PHONE. Gotta watch the screen for this one and agree when it comes up. If you miss it, it will time out. That's what happened to ya. No worries, you're not alone!
