Carrier Cab request (or just help with the settings)

I am having problems setting my internet settings on my "new" Fuze... Everything worked in my Tilt... I have the Fuze Sim unlocked, CID unlocked, etc.. I've installed the Energy.RAPHAEL.21889.StandardM2.5_27.Jan.2010 rom on it... In the list of carrier settings, my carrier isn't listed (it is a small regional GSM carrier). Calling and TXT messaging is working.. but not internet and MMS (via carrier, Wifi Internet works great)... when a program tries to access the internet, it "connects".. but always gives an error basically saying it isn't getting data... Could someone make a carrier cab for my carrier with the info that I have? Thank you in advance, and here are the settings that I have..
-----------------------------------------------------
Name for connection : EinsteinPCS Internet
access point name : apn (case sensitive)
Usename : (leave blank)
password: (leave blank)
domain : (leave blank)
...under advanced
Use Server assigned IP address
click ok..
under proxy settings check: this network connects to the internet
check this network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet
proxy server should be :192.168.254.251
click advanced
http: 192.168.254.251:8080
wap: 192.168.254.251:9201
secure wap: 192.168.254.251:9201
socks (blank)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
For MMS... go into MMS Options... goto servers.. set these settings :

Server Name : Einstein Wireless MMS
Gateway : 192.168.254.251
Port # : 9201
Server Address : httP//www.einsteinmms.com\+1(your 10 digit # here)
Connect via : EinsteinPCS Internet
-------------------------------------------------------------------

On a side note, this carrier does NOT offer 3G, and the internet connection is either GPRS or Edge, depending on the tower I am on. I know that is slow, but it works great for TomTom traffic updates on the road, as well as weatherupdates, etc.. Thank you in advance for even considering it.

write all that info to phone yourself. its easy. for mms option, open msg client, press menu on bottom right, and select pic/vid/mms option. go to server and either edit existing or create new but befor you do that go to settings/connections/connections and either edit or create new connection settings with other info you posted. after you create connection setting, in connections sellect advanced and make sure you set both dropdowns to the connection setting you created. then do mms.

Re: Carrier Cab request (or just help with the settings)

Look in the CDMA upgrade section (I know your GSM but follow me)
Look for the DCD ROM release for the TP....
In the first post of that thread there is a link to DCD's Carrier cabs FTP site.
I'm pretty sure you will find a cab for your carrier there!

If not try xda-developers...

Yes.. made sure it stuck... Like I said in the past post, it even shows it connects to the internet... (and actually "connnects") but no programs then work with the internet.. all say they cant; see the server, etc... Thanks for the suggestion though

thanks for the suggestion... But I already did that before I posted (I like to do a lot of searching first before I ask for help)... My carrier is called Einstein Wireless ... not one of the ones listed... I also posted on XDA before here, but no one has even replied to me there, let alone given me the answer... I even sent a message to DCD personally to ask for help, but haven;t heard back yet.... Thanks for all the great suggestions though!

Re: Carrier Cab request (or just help with the settings)

Ok Everyone!

After erasing all the internet settings again for the 5th time... I inputted everything in, made sure that 3G/UPSD options turned off, it seems to be working this time.. No idea what I did diffrent this time than all the others, but it works.. That is what matters... Thank you to all those who offered help via PM or in the forums...
