If your with Sprint, you could go to your local repair center and they will give you another battery for free. That's what they did for me, so I keep one handy, when it dies, just pop the other one in.

this might not be easy to find on google. to the op: i believe sedio makes an extended battery that fits in the stock casing. not very much extended but better than the stock battery. (http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi15htcx1.htm - 1500mah "slim" extended battery. i believe stock is only 1050mah?) and on a side note, i got an extended battery for my g/f's diamond off of ebay ($15 with case) and just to test things out i threw it in my tp and it seemed to work. booted up no issues. didn't test to see if it would charge. i don't think it's an option for myself however. it does make the phone almost twice as thick as it is with the stock battery (HUGE!!). lol don't think she liked it either as her small diamond was thicker than my tp. lol i agree and after finding this i just picked one up on ebay. $41 after shipping. i'm going to try it out in the womans phone and if it does good i'll get one for mine too.
