Re: TP connecting with Linksys wireless-n router
that is correct. the TP has a built wireless g network card and in most cases wireless n routers are backwards compatible but the best connection you'll receive is wireless g which i think is up to 5Mbps

Re: TP connecting with Linksys wireless-n router
wireless g is 54mbps not sure if that was a typo ridley. but like most say, most wifi routers that do wireless N will also have 802.11 a/b/g as well.

Re: TP connecting with Linksys wireless-n router
Just a side note...
It is possible to shut down backwards compatability on a Linksys N router... The router must be in mixed mode and at least one radio band (2.4Ghz) must be enabled to accept G connections (you can set the 5Ghz to do N only if you want) I have a Linksys 650N and not only will my phone connect to it, It will even support WPA Personal encryption! |
