Beta tester for cricket ROM

This is a custom ROM if you are currently running a custom ROM then your phone is unlocked already. If installed it will completely replace everything on your phones OS. As for screwing up stuff if the phone is unlocked you would be fine. You'll just loose what ever ROM and programs you have installed now.

alrighty, im downloading it now ill keep you updated on my experience. unfortunatly im flying to georga tomorrow morning untill saturday so i will not have my cricket service active out there but ill let you know what goes on when i return

i as well am leaving town, for i have no idea (econamy is crap, can't find local job) when i'll return. leaving sunday and don't even know if i will have service were i go. i would like to test but can't. don't think i am out of loop, my device might go for cricket testing if i can get new device and new laptop. leaving old everything here with wife. whitey i will send you a pm of my email if you would like to send me updates of your rom, but it may be weeks, maybe even a month or so before i can offer device help. will take my cricket tp with me, but net may be a prob for downloads for a while.

I checked out the ROM and can say it's not for me. There's nothing wrong with the ROM, as it works, but on a personal level I prefer a "clean" ROM.

Some problems that I saw, and may not be experienced by everyone, are the following:

• Phone canvas has the scrollbar. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not.
• MMS works, but the icons are missing when composing a new MMS. (See attached) This has been an issue with any ROM having Arcsoft cooked in, that I have used.
• GPS took awhile to lock. This could be my settings in DIAG, but since I can't connect my phone to QPST, I can not check.

Again, the ROM seems to be operational, but not of my personal preferences. I wish you luck with creating a Cricket ROM that will work "out of the box".
