nosajs, thanks. although i was on htc site today and hooked self up with it. with the multi threads about it not working i just stayed out of them. i was using a temp fix from 1st of year as it was posted on main page and peeps seamed to miss it.

+1 for custom roms, guess we'll have to wait and see, finally found a good one I been using for months and don't really want to hard restart/install stock rom

Ive tried this fix on 2 different customers, using stock ROMs, it gives me the incorrect version error. Any clues?

The rom need updated to 2.01.xxxx. I had the same problem & am about to try the fix with the update.
