TP can't sync with WMDC anymore

as the title says i can't sync my TP with my PC using WMDC x64, tried all my USB ports, even a different USB cord. and it wont work..

sync'd it twice before no hitch. now dead..

Try settings/connection\usb to PC and toggle the Enable faster data synchronization. Did you reboot both phone and computer? That sometimes fixes it for me.

Does the computer do the connection tone when you plug it in? Maybe the usb port on the phone or computer is broken. You can also sometimes get it in the devices using the dos prompt and typing 'ipconfig /all'.

Yeah i get the sound, i can even access my memory stick.. just not my phone it's self...

It was on disk drive. switched it to sync with outlook, and unchecked the box that says uncheck if you are having problems.

now Vista picked up i need drivers for it. even though they are already installed..

EDIT: okay it worked! i've no idea why though... any ideas so i can avoid this in the future?

Upgrade to Windows 7 lol. Seriously, it happened to me ONCE. I unchecked the box and rechecked it and it went well. All else fails, delete the partnership (you wont lose the files) and resync it to a new partnership.
