mghtrom6 and mylocation in google maps not working

Hello!

So I have a bell cdma touch pro and I am very happy with the final version of mighty rom 6. I've been using it for awhile and am really happy.

However in google maps if you go to help>about and look where it say myl:N/A

on other roms it give my location and as a result I can update my latitude while google maps is closed. and it will do the location based weather.

Has anyone come across a fix for this for the mighty rom 6 rom.

Just to be clear I am not talking about gps or wifi based location. Both of those work great. I am talking about the cell tower location triangulation that works in other roms. I believe the issue has to do with windows handing over the information to the software but I am not sure.

what are the other roms?

I haven't checked out the othere's in a while. I know of ENERGY and PSYKI I think have Google maps location via Cell towers ( aGPS - Assisted GPS)

I tried for the longest time to get google maps to refresh my latitude location. I tried several different roms and none could make it work. then I read somewhere on google that theres a bug in there program that is not allowing it to update location while program is in the background.

Theres many, many different roms out there. EnergyRom is my favorite so far. I love the animated weather on today screen.

On a side note, has anyone found a good app to give friends my gps location. I tried many different ones and can't find anything to work worth a damn.
