Anyway, I have used only energy rom, so I cannot comment for mighty. But I find energy's roms to function very well, and have had no issues with performance, or buggyness. I feel that he tests out his roms very well b4 releasing them. Plus, and I may be stating something that had been already, but I believe that energy's roms are the more up to date.... could be mistaken tho.
The OP was asking about affliction as well.

Re: Energy ROM vs Mighty ROM

Believe me Ive tried to flashing through SD card, the problem is the mighty rom downloads as a .exe. So when I tried downloading on my SD card and opening it the phone says its not able to open because its not a known compatible program.

Re: Energy ROM vs Mighty ROM

HI all
I have found this post really quite useful, and watching the argument has helped me realise that I need to look into these ROM's.
As you can tell I am a newby to smartphones despite my techie skills, just been wrong time wrong money, wrong place etc for me to get one until now.
I have a Touch Pro and am really interested.

One thing (note newby) where do I find the Mighty and Energy ROM's?

Cheers for your help guys

Re: Energy ROM vs Mighty ROM

Forgive me on reviving an old thread. I am using MightyRom on TP2 and I like it but I haven't tried Energy or others. MR is by no means discontinued - check out his thread - it grows by leaps and bounds daily to hundreds of pages and he turns out a new update every month/month and a half or so.

So given the time pass, and the changes any current opinions on the comparison of these two great roms...

Thanks.

Re: Energy ROM vs Mighty ROM

For anyone interested there is a flasher for Linux as well, it's called HTCFlasher and it works very well. I had MightyROM 4, and wanted to try something different. Thinking I had to use windows I attempted to flash with windows and failed numerous times. I though I had bricked my phone, was even considering insurance claim. Finally decided to research Linux and found HTCFlasher and it revived the TP, I was happy....

I said all this to say, after trying many ROMS, I've reloaded Mighty ROM for it's stability. I can always add any new apps I might want.
