Re: Energy ROM vs Mighty ROM

Believe me Ive tried to flashing through SD card, the problem is the mighty rom downloads as a .exe. So when I tried downloading on my SD card and opening it the phone says its not able to open because its not a known compatible program.

I think this was a helpful post because he did say to check all to find one that suits you because it is true that it boils down to personal preference.

The fact that he mentioned what seems irrelevant, a "Hero" kind of reflects our state of sorrow in the "WinMobile" world.

I now have 3 phones on my plan and one being a "Hero".
Although I have too much time/experience/programs invested in windows mobile, I do notice that the Hero has none of the problems we have and can see myself and many going to this operating system in the next few years.

I don't see Winmo stepping up their game fast enough and frankly I am truley ashamed that such a large company as M$ can be lagging behind so poorly in user interface (GUI) compared to smaller companies like Apple and Goolge.
If it wasn't for HTC manilla/sense, we would be stuck with outdated 6.1 interface and screwed looking to emulate another, and I would be on andriod.

I also hate M$ for giving me "blue screen of death" on Vista, and having to resort to Linux to save/recover my important files, and wasting almost a month looking/settling for a safer dual-boot setup of LinuxMint/windows7 grrrr.

Re: Energy ROM vs Mighty ROM

HI all
I have found this post really quite useful, and watching the argument has helped me realise that I need to look into these ROM's.
As you can tell I am a newby to smartphones despite my techie skills, just been wrong time wrong money, wrong place etc for me to get one until now.
I have a Touch Pro and am really interested.

One thing (note newby) where do I find the Mighty and Energy ROM's?

Cheers for your help guys

Re: Energy ROM vs Mighty ROM

Forgive me on reviving an old thread. I am using MightyRom on TP2 and I like it but I haven't tried Energy or others. MR is by no means discontinued - check out his thread - it grows by leaps and bounds daily to hundreds of pages and he turns out a new update every month/month and a half or so.

So given the time pass, and the changes any current opinions on the comparison of these two great roms...

Thanks.
