Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
I had a problem with airplane mode a while ago... but as far as I know it's been working for a while. Accidentally turned it on last week, worked just fine

I don't think anyone's gotten data working on Cricket. And I'm not sure where the problem is, either. Data authentication/authorization, proxy servers, something. |

For RAPH500'ers w/ boot issues, maybe try Gen.Y dualboot:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623792 It launches quite early in the winmo boot process, maybe more memory will stay free for android. If that is, in fact, the problem, I'm not guessing either way. |

I tried the files on the first page, but it wouldn't work, kept getting the "waiting for the SD card" message. Even formated and used a new 1gb sd, but no go. I d/l the xda 2.2 instead, and wow, it worked!!! Wasn't 100% reliable, but if it gets much better I'd consider using this.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
just a heads up, I was able to successfully boot into android at 748MHz, although it is much more stable at 729mhz. using overclock widget im able to get decent battery life with moderate use throughout the day. there is definetly a difference in terms of response to the touch screen.
Has anyone else tried hitting their max on the phone? |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro -- Now working on Verizon! And with GPS!
I've switched phones since I last tried it, but my old RAPH800 was an absolute dog. Unstable at 650, unbootable at 700. So there's a pretty big range.

I'm getting married tomorrow, so I probably won't be around for a few days. Take care and see you all later.
