Well, so far 2.2 is working well for my Telus Touch Pro. I used the new system.ext2, updated rootfs, initrd, kernel+modules, and deleted my data.img.

Wifi doesn't seem to be working, as with the latest kernel, still unable to enable wifi. I had to manually add my Telus APN and reboot which got 3G working.

I've grabbed some stuff from market, can't find the Flash 10.1 anywhere though. This build is ALPHA but is very quick. I love the new home screen, and full twitter, facebook integration with account sync. Things seem to move faster in 2.2.

This community rocks.

P.S. On the kernel autobuilds site, it mentions that the calibration file is depricated and no longer used.

this is not for the touch screen so do not confuse it with the ts-configuration file which is still needed.

I have no sound selections with 2.2. The only sound offered for ringtones or notification is "silent." Anyone else?

generally means the scanning of media files off the sd card failed. Make sure they're there (/sdcard/andboot/media/). If they are, try grabbing sdrescan from the market and giving it a go. If still nothing, try a new data.img. Still nothing, try a fresh sd card with no non-android files on it, and then a new data.img.

Edit: Could also just be a known issue with FroYo. Haven't checked it out yet, so I don't know.

media dir is present in the root of andboot - it's also in system/media. Added sdrescan, nuked data, tried a different card. No joy here.

Then... I'm out of easy ideas. Anyone got media/ringtones/etc loading in FroYo?

Yes, you are quite correct good sir. I only removed the said file, leaving ts-configuration alone.
