Hey Makk, the link to glemsom's autobuilds appears to broken. A link that works is: http://glemsom.users.anapnea.net/android2/ Might want to update the post.

At least, that's how I understand it to work. I'd be curious to hear if this works for other cricket users, because, if so, something strange is going on.

If other Cricket users try this, and it doesn't work, it'd be worth trying it again, but with an MNC of 995. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it works. :-)

My MNC has been showing up as 995 all along, with no active data connection. If I drop into a terminal and pull an ipconfig it shows that my device has an IP address very similar to what I get in WinMo, but pinging yields nothing. I'll set my MNC to 00 and see what happens.

What's the startup file for user commands? I'd like to run dropbear at startup.

Thanks!

dropbear will automatically run at startup, if you have a dropbear folder with a key in it. Instructions on that are here.

As for cricket, that sounds very much like what was happening with many carriers before ppp auth was working. Connects, get an ip address, but won't actually transfer any data. I don't know if that means it's got the wrong authentication information, or if it's not dealing correctly with the proxy, or something else. I never really understood exactly what changed with the authentication to make it work.

not sure who this applys to but i couldn't get the calendar to sync (exchange) with the current calendar app. found: http://androidforums.com/nexus-one/3...-calendar.html - post 22.

corpcal.apk, works great. took some fidgeting to get it to work at all but once i got it going, works great.

Right, there is no native exchange-calendar syncing option in Android. Corpcal is a motorola-developed program that adds the functionality. It's a great little program and simply emulates the regular calendar.

ya i use my phone alot for work, so this made it nice, being able to see my calendar again lol. i tried the google calendar sync program but couldn't get it to work. lol this means more time on android now. i am now running this 90% of my day. still using winmo at night cause i don't trust the alarm in android yet.

on another note, i used my extended battery this weekend. 2400mah from my g/fs diamond. got about 12hrs or so. very nice. i went to bed at around 5am. left the phone off the charger, and that lasted me until about 5pm with usage from noon to 5.

now in winmo using this battery i get no battery reporting what so ever. in android i do. any ideas on why?

Heres what i did to get mine to work.

Goto Settings>Wireless Controls>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names>

From there select the default APN. Mine didn't have any thing to edit so i just made a new one.

Name: Cricket
APN: Cricket Mobile Web
Proxy: wap.mycricket.com
Port: 8080
Username:10DigitNumber@mycricket.com
Password: cricket
MCC: 310
MNC: 00

Then Menu>Save

Also on mine the newly created APN never showed on the list of APNs but my data still worked.

Still does not work. On a freshly formatted 2GB microSD I extracted the contents of CDMA-XDANDROID-AIO-2010-06-13.7z, booted into Android, and created the APN per Mr1337's post but was unable to bring up a web page. Still working on it.

So I have a Touch Pro (Sprint) but the ID under the battery says PPC6850. I see very little on this but it looks just like the Raphael but is it?
