If it's stuck at the text, then

A) It'll go through a bunch of things right at the start, then stop for a few minutes, then start repeating the same few lines every few minutes thereafter. The last thing it prints before it stops is the important part.

B) My guess is the last thing will be something related to the sd card, i.e. mmcblk0: p1 < p5 >. If it is this, the easiest choice is to repartition the sd card. Use the HP Disk Tool (I believe it's linked in the first page -- otherwise, google it).

OK, as far as I can tell, the problem with data in the latest package is just the missing APN. Instructions to replace it are in the FAQ under CDMA Data isn't working. I'll patch it up, package it up, and tell babijoee about it tonight or tomorrow, probably.

I really thought it was reading apns-conf from the rootfs now, though. weird.

I literally only tested for all of 5 mins, so my problem could easily just be Sprint having troubles at that time. Had the 3g symbol up, but only the left activity light would blink (which I think means the app is sending but getting no response).

upgrade from the build from the last day or 2 (the one WITH the GPS)

however playing with it some more today i noticed data cuts in and out

GPS seems to be running extremely slow as well but that might just be me

Question, can someone IM me with the response cause this is alot of things to read just for this. Is there any way to get a Phone Keypad on Android? Instead of the QWERTY Keyboard? I hate it and don't like having to use the slide out keyboard. I don't like having both hands full with one little phone.

new to the thread...it seems as if everyone is leaving for droid so i thought to check on the progress to get more use from my tp. All I can say is wow!! there have been many improvements that makes this very usable.

Now, i have to do some homework to catch up on the jargon and have to read through and find fixes on GPS/ my location. Thanks!!

Quick question...would android run a little snappier on 6.1 as opposed to 6.5?

By the way..awesome work on this. I have been using android on my TP for some time now. Battery life isn't that big of an issue..I plug it in at work, in my car..and at home..Plus have spare battery for backup. Can't wait until you guys have the camera and flash worked out. Keep up the good work!!!

It shouldn't make a difference, WinMo is out of the picture after Linux/Android loads. Android isn't "running" on 6.1 or 6.5, it uses them as a bootloader to initialize some stuff.
