Someone over in the XDA thread you asked the same question in rujelus22 answered it... Not sure if it's the right answer, but they thought that it was related to the squashfs-tools package you were using in Ubuntu.

ya i had read that in my research as well. squashfs 4.0 will not work. has to be 3.1.

rujelus: Try doing it the less complicated way, see if that works. that is:

sudo unsquashfs system.sqsh

#make your changes......

sudo mksquashfs squashfs-root system2.sqsh

And yes, you must have a pre-4.0 squashfs tools.

Look at post #2 in this thread. I haven't tried it, but stinebd has made a wifi tethering app.

How do you turn off the screen during a call ?

And it seems the speaker button acts as the mute button ? :/

Still can't get the custom wallpaper to work Guess it never will since the camera won't work

Only If I could find the folder where the wallpapers are so I can place the image in there

What are you guys overclocking to? The only frequency I've gotten to work (so far, still trying) is 640MHz.

EDIT:May have just gotten 760 working.

I got a samsung moment. I've been waiting for the 2.1 update and then I was hoping I could back port some of the sprint stuff for the TP.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.1; en-us; XDANDROID Build/ERD72) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/530.17)

Anyone know if there's a wi-fi tether that will work with this build. Its the only thing keeping me from using it all the time.
