Espresso Builds - grab the "Rosie" build if you want SenseUI. Again, very buggy, very unstable. I had to wait forever (like 10 minutes) between simple actions. Use at your own risk, can't say I didn't warn ya! |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
I am trying to mess with squashfs just to play with it. I have unsquash and try and resquash but every time I try and boot android it stops at
mount: mounting /dev/block/loop1 on /system failed: Invalid argument Failed Failed to mount /system /bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off /# I know it has something to do with my system.sqsh file because it boot fine with the default one. I have not changed anything yet in there just trying to unsquash and re squash. I am using Ubuntu if it makes a difference. These are the commands I've been using. Got them from another site. sudo unsquashfs system.sqsh #make your changes......then (I am not changing anything yet) sudo mv squashfs-root system sudo genext2fs -d system -b 180000 system.ext2 mkdir ext2mount Sudo mount-o loop system.ext2 ext2mount sudo mksquashfs ext2mount system.sqsh |
Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
interesting, i used it and it seemed to kinda work (done via windows) and i was able to boot into android but got stuck at the bootscreen (with the colorful x). wouldn't boot past that point. we suspected it had to do with permissions. all i did was unsquash it then resquash it. i have a feeling if i had access to a linux machine, it would have worked.
however i was able to make a system.ex2 file. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=581429 thanks to Artlan who showed me this link. look there and it will give you the directions and everything you need to be able to do what i did. it does take alot more room but it appears to work. i was able to play for awhile until i gave up on what i was testing. |
