htc touch pro wont send text messeges

I have an htc touch pro running energy rom photon and it wont send text messeges if i disable sense ui.it will recieve text but not send. i dont like sense as much because it takes massive amounts of ram. i like the windows mobile 6.5 rom ui. any suggestions?
