Unlocker questions - new phone

I picked up a new Touch Pro from ebay that should be here today.

It has been flashed with another ROM and I believe is still unlocked.

Do I proceed by verifying it(with the button combination to check)?
Or do I want to verify the version and use a newer version of CMONEX?
If so, how do I proceed? Do I re-lock then unlock or just unlock again?

I'll be installing the MightyMike 6 rom before I activate the phone.

if when u get it u can flash a rom its still unlocked! but if u get it and the phone will not let u flash a new rom that means it has been relocked! just reunlock the device with the newest unlocker and enjoy!

i do still think u should check the unlocker version just because the older verison doesnt work well with gps and also when get device check the radio verison u might need to upgrade to a gps enabled radio!

I think I should re-unlock it, my question is, do I need to lock it before I unlock it again with the newest unlocker?


I didn't do a whole lot of searching into radios, can you point me in the right direction for a radio? Its for Alltel.

use any radio you want. there is a sticky in the tp cdma upgrades that has a list of 12 radios. no one can suggest a radio for you. it will depend on your area, how far out of cell tower range you are, and how good of a signal you get. you may need to change radios every couple days and test each one to see which gives best signal and best battery usage and find which works best for you.

I'm trying to activate my phone, I have to do it manually and I am not able to for some reason.

I got instructions from the alltel guy, mainly because I don't have a second line to activate off of. I just downloaded and flashed the Mighty Mike rom and when I dial ##000000 it doesn't do anything...


Any ideas?

To fix this problem, I flashed the Alltel stock rom and took care of it, now to flash back.

I am still having issues activating, it gets internet but no calls or texts
