Sprint touch pro - need opinion and advise

I am a long time customer of Sprint HTC phones and of this site. I had the Mogul and then the Touch. Now I received a Touch Pro as a present. I love both the Mogul and Touch. I have two questions and I appreciate any and all feedbacks.

1) I am able to tether with both the Mogul and Touch. I have the old SERO plan and I am able to tether without any issues. Will I be able to tether with the TP? Will I need to install the Internet Sharing program or is it pre-installed like it is for the Touch? If so, is it the same procedure as tethering with the Touch and Mogul?

2) It seems that there are alot of threads with problems with the TP such as overheating and keyboard. Should I keep it or sell it back thru eBay. It was purchase thru eBay and I don't think I will be able to get insurance on it. I don't want to use it and then the phone goes bad in a couple of months or weeks.

Any and all feedback, advise, tips will be greatly appreciated.
