relock walk through help on messenger?

The keyboard on my sprint touch pro stopped working a week ago and before I take it back I want to reflash to stock.
A friend unlocked and flashed mighty rom for me in the past, but Ive been searching for a while and trying to figure it out on my own. I was able to flash the updated version of mighty rom as practice, but Im having problems flashing the stock sprint rom/re locking it.
I was wondering if anyone uses aim or yahoo messenger that is willing to give me a hand and help me flash back to stock.

Go to the TP upgrades forum, look at the stickies there. It should have information on relocking.

After a lot more re searching and trial and error- I went from not even knowing how to use activesync to now being able to flash cooked roms and back to stock and relock easily.
(as if it was that hard huh?) So I feel pretty acomplished

I did notice that on the replacement phone, the bootloader screen now reads SPL-0.40.0000 where the old phone read SPL-0.30.0000 (after using the sprint re-locker)
Is this just a new lock on the phone vs my previous phone?
And if I were to flash a cooked rom and then have to flash to stock/relock, do you think it'll make a difference if I use the re-locker that will read 0.30 and not 0.40?

I'll research more in the meantime, I just didn't want to start a thread just for that question.
