BSOD (sort of) Screen freaks out, but phone still works

More and more often my phone will show an all blue screen with some vertical lines in it on start up. I use the code thing on start up, so buttons don't get pressed, and i can unlock it because i know where the buttons are. I use the voice dialing just fine. If i use the top button to turn it on and off, eventually it will show up and work just fine. Sometimes it will have a weird halo thing in the center, and faded edges. If i reboot, it will work fine on start up, but if i turn it off, then on, sometimes it will freak out. Has anybody seen anything like this, or have any idea how i could fix it. I'm not really thinking about claiming the insurance on it because it costs $100 and you get a refurb phone that will probably have issues too. They said there is a $78 buyback if i upgrade to the TP2. Too bad they didn't put a 1Ghz in the TP2. I really want more speed!
