PLEASE HELP! Browser keeps crashing!

Hello Everyone,
I was hoping someone has experienced a similar problem or can help me with this issue. Lately, everytime I open up a new web page via the browser icon it crashes after downloading about 3/4 of the page. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

It is very frustrating. Prior to this problem it would constantly say "too many tabs open, close a tab to continue" when I would only have 1-2 open tabs.

If anyone knows the cause of this problem or a possible solution, I would greatly appreciate some advise being a newbie to the forum.
