Is there anything Mighty's ROM doesn't do over a Stock Sprint ROM

I appreciate Mighty not going to cutting edge with Sense UI for stability reasons.

My Stock ROM is running pretty good and as long as I don't lose anything I might give Mighty's ROM a go. I wouldn't mind a little bit of eye candy. Stock ROM is quite functional but sure is a bit boring looking.

I want perfect GPS (which I have now) I never have to do anything and it always locks fast.
I want a perfect phone (Which I have now). I assume this is 99% radio. But I don't want any Slide to Unlock or Phone app glitches.
I want autorotate on everything I can get it on.
I want good battery, I can go 2 days easy now.
I must be able to run exchange.
I never run out of memory or even close. Seen many posts regarding this (on who knows whos ROM).
I'm running Opera 10 Beta and it's working pretty good. Be nice if Might ROM had Opera 10 or no Browser so that I don't have an dead 9.5 or 97 that goes unused and flashed on.

My biggest complaints are TouchFlow EMail really stinks. It's such a PITA to see what messages are unread. Does Mighty's ROM improve this?

And the Voice Command lag over BlueTooth. I don't expect that to be fixed.

I've seen so many folks say they went back to stock, mainly for speed. I certainly wouldn't want it to run any slower/less snappy than Stock 6.1 ROM.

Thanks for any tips.

I love my MR as much as the next guy...but you say you have the perfect phone already. Why change? Sounds more like you need a couple cabs, and not a whole new ROM

Umm...it doesn't leave you stuck with WM 6.1?

The one that was released yesterday has the new USC core so it helps with some of the bluetooth issues. I can finally hangup from my car's headunit!

Why don't you back up your current info & flash to MightyROM & try it out for a day or so to see if you want to keep it or not...

Re: Is there anything Mighty's ROM doesn't do over a Stock Sprint ROM

I am thinking of trying this Rom and my biggest question is, does it help with speed? The less lag in a phone, the better it is for me. I have never flashed a ROM before, but want to reduce some of the lag I am seeing in 6.1 stock.

Re: Is there anything Mighty's ROM doesn't do over a Stock Sprint ROM

Ok, I loaded Mighty. So far not too bad.

GPS Locked quicky but I have not used it to navigate yet.
I do like the home screen better, nicer clock and integrated weather.
Exchange seems to be working fine.

I don't like the "Start Menu" arrangement. I realize I can rearrange it.
Opera 9.5 instead of 10 Beta.

I'll pound on it over the weekend.

Re: Is there anything Mighty's ROM doesn't do over a Stock Sprint ROM

I've run into a few issues.
Opera 10 does not seem quite as stable, it's locked up a couple times.

The top bar on the home screen seems to have issues.
A few times the last app ran and exited would be left drawn in the top bar on home screen.
Also the task manager (or menu manager) would not drop down.
