can somebody post the fix cab here? I am having validation issues with the site, so can't download yet.

Okay, just confused here, is the Omnia "fix" a whole other incarnation of the SRS WOW application? I am unclear as to if the Omnia application "fix" is just the registry keys or the whole application? Do I just install the Omnia version of the SRS WOW application? Or the one from this post AND the one from the Omnia to overwrite it?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

One last question, installed the one for the Omnia, soft-reset, whenever I start the WOW HD Settings applet from the System tab, I'm told "There is no WOW HD driver loaded. The control panel applet will now exit."

I just spent about 8hrs trying to figure out the power button deal until I figured it out myself, then read this. Pain in the butt, had to reset my phone cause I couldn't figure it out, started from scratch, and one by one did software installs until the power button no longer worked.

Sprite Backup is restoring my device, so I haven't even tried a fix.

All I know is i'm relieved. I wanted to toss the phone not too long ago.

So, do we install both? I had to install both of these and now I have two slider applications in the control panel. Now the strange thing that is happening when I restart my stock Sprint TP2 is that my contacts/calendar links at the bottom of the main page disappear.

you weren't supposed to install the cab, you were only supposed to make the registry changes in the first post.

anyway, false alarm! I thought the fix was working, but it crashed again. workaround?

turn off the auto power off setting in the WM battery console...

nope that doesnt work either.

but I noticed that as long as you have a song on PAUSE, it won't crash.

I concur. This did not fix anything about power-down issues in my stock ROM Sprint TP2. had to uninstall it.

Bummer... I guess I'll just wait until there is a real fix... I'd rather have a phone that doesn't crash...

****, I cant really afford to uninstall this without getting shitt sound through bluetooth or no bluetooth controls through coreplayer...

sorry guys i have not updated the thread, i came across the modaco thread posted above, and it seemed to work for about 6 hours, everything was fine, as soon as i was ready to post the registry fix, BANG it just began happening again, the suspend lockup...so i decided not to post it yet...i still have to work on it a bit and see...sorry for the delay, been a little busy this week...
