is this only for the 6xxxx or 5xxxxxx or 4xxxxx prl's? i only use 3xxxxx prl's on my touch pro. even when i do the *228/2 option

There is a small chance you could get roaming charges on small carriers that VZW roams on for free but Alltel didn't like some of Bluegrass Cellular in a few counties of Kentucky. NEW INFO: I am wrong. Verizon devides the ACCOLC calles in to 10 groups and you are simply assigned the last digit of your phone number in an attempt to end up with 10 even allocations.
Interesting info, so I am going to leave the post, but I do not expect it to help anyone. THE ABOVE TEXT WAS AN EDIT - PLEASE IGNORE BELOW - IT SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ---------- Ok. New Theory: I used to use a Sprint phone on the Verizon network and I used to battle with the constant roaming indicator. That sent me in to QPST on a hunch. I found that the NAM settings are different under custom ROM than stock ROMS. I compared them line by line using QPST. Once again, I have no way to test, so I am going to need a tester. Instructions:
