...at least for a doofus like me. didn't notice until now - when you open up htc's calc app vertically, it's pretty bare bones. weak, or so i thought.

while calc was open, i set my phone on the table. must have switched orientation and voila! fn key along with a small array of sci functions, % key, et al.

i thought of buying a calc app but this will do just fine.

did anyone else not notice this like me?

yeah, just checked my old tp. stock calc app doesn't expand when in landscape mode or when sliding out the keyboard.

at least the tp calc app showed sq rt, %, inverse and pos/neg right off the bat.
