Re: Need help with Weather clock
There are actually 7 files for the clock, 4 of them for the background (2 top and 2 bottom), 1 file for the numbers, and 1 file each for AM/PM designation. I've cab'd up all of them from the MightyROM for anyone that would still want it, however, I haven't tested it out, but it should work. If it doesn't work and people would still want it, I can recreate it, but it will have to wait until tomorrow as I don't have anyway to really troubleshoot any issues ATM. I also have a clock that people can download that is a black background with white numbers over here.
For anyone that needs to know, here are the files: 14e89810_manila 251edfbd_manila 3504625a_manila 456da6c4_manila 5801c3c9_manila 62e5f1b5_manila 7be8b171_manila

Re: Need help with Weather clock
I didn't realize am and pm were separate from the background tabs, thanks for pointing that out. I wonder why they did it that way.

Re: Need help with Weather clock
So that the AM/PM could be seperate from the background. If you don't want a background, you can still have the AM/PM floating with nothing behind it. It also can be changed that way to any color, easier.

Re: Need help with Weather clock
I tried using CFC GUI, how do you change the colors of the clock files once you open up the Manila files in CFC GUI?
EDIT: never mind I figured it out, thanks again jollyschwa I never noticed that AM/PM wasn't changed, but not a big deal for me because I use 24hour time anyway. Last edited by japper88; 11-21-2009 at 05:49 PM. |

Re: Need help with Weather clock
Well, you must first export the manila file from CFC GUI an a .PNG file(image file). Then open the image with an image editor, such as Photo Shop Pro, Gimp, etc,... Then in the image editor, you can adjust the color, morph the image, etc,... Then save the image with the same manila name, still as a .PNG. Then with a program, such as Mode9 Editor, you can reconvert the images back to .manila files. Then with a program, such as QuickCab, you can use the modified manila files to create your .cab file.
Not as simple as just editing the image in CFC GUI. Wish it was. Although this method works well and gets easier with practice. There is another way of changing the files without having to create a .cab for it, although it's then not installable. You would have to replace the modified manila files with the original to revert back. Hope this helps and if you would like further info, let me know, or PM me if you want. Just trying to help, not trying to butt in. |
