Re: Sprint TP2 sim card for Iphone?
Please answer only if you know what your talking about.
Everyone knows Sprint is CDMA, however on their world phones they put in a Sprint GSM card that is supposed to be used overseas and still on your sprint account, So, if one was to use that GSM Sim card in an unlocked phone, there is no proof it wont work being as it is a GSM sim card, and has nothing to do with the CDMA technology. Even if it was just using the universal Edge network, it would still technically work on an unlocked phone. I have seen this asked before but no one has tried it, I have an iphone that I might unlock if my buddy will give it to me since it has been in my desk for a month now. Force |

Re: Sprint TP2 sim card for Iphone?
yes I have but not with iphone, I have many unlocked phones and no the sim card from sprint will not work in the us. if you have your touch pro2 unlocked for us carriers you can try it yourself by switching it to gsm. there is no gsm network for sprint in the us.
having said that i see no reason why it would not work outside the us using the gsm network. i was wondering just for curiosity, if I would take my sim card that is activated on my account and give it to someone out of the country , if we can use sprint data service at the same time. anyways to answer your question, no iphone on sprint atleast for now |

Re: Sprint TP2 sim card for Iphone?
He's right, it won't work. Sprint doesn't use sim cards in the US, and the network is CDMA.
