Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?

I used to be able to display both the battery icon and the time on my Treo 800w. On the TP2 you can either only display one or the other. Is there a way to display both??

what I do is set the clock to always display & then run the dci battery gauge across the top of the screen.

I've been wanting this as well. It's a pain while you're on a call to have to go back to the home screen just for the time. The 23xxx builds have both though because they moved the start menu button to the bottom. Still we have a lot of free space left over on the start menu bar of our 21xxx builds.

Re: Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?

I'm not sure why but on my stock rom when i selected 'show time in all programs' it would show time when using programs but when i was using touch flo it would show the battery. this was perfect for me but now i select it, it shows the time even in touch flo ): it's especially dumb on the home screen. why would i want to see the time twice?

Re: Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?

HTC TF3 screws up the default behavior of the clock and battery. I recommend the attached program - Batti. Batti is a customizable battery meter that displays on the top of the screen. Works really well.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Im assuming there's like no registry tweak that would enable both on the taskbar though?

So was I. I contacted HTC and they said, "By design."

Re: Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?

I used the suggested Ariel Battery app. Plus who can resist an app that was named for their son? Awwww.

Here's what my screen looks like now and I'm happy enough with it:
