Voice Command doesn't work for Music??
Ok, please tell me I'm not alone in this- I did a search and couldn't find anyone else mentioning it, but... has anyone here been able to get Voice Command to queue up music by artist or album?
I'm not even talking about a custom ROM- the stock Voice Command on the Stock Rom, not using bluetooth... it works for contacts and starting applications, as it always did on previous devices. However, if I say "Play Dream Theater" or "Play Rush" or even just "Play Anything" or "Play Music", it just sits like it is trying to figure something out, then either says "Try again" or plays that failure noise ("DUMMM!"). Its almost as if the media feature was disabled from Voice Command- this worked on every previous Voice Command I had, dating back to the HTC Wizard. I'm finding starting music in the car very difficult without it. Anyone else notice this? Have any fixes??

Re: Voice Command doesn't work for Music??
LOL- well, I'll be... the media box wasn't checked!
You know, I never thought about looking there because this is a stock rom on a brand new phone. I wonder how that turned off... Thanks for pointing out my impatient stupidity! |
