Re: Best backup program to use when flashing roms?
I use PIMbackup, just for my personal info and reset everything else so nothing screws up the new flash. so far it's worked great for me.

Re: Best backup program to use when flashing roms?
Spb Backup for a full registry and easy tranfer to new roms - used it from mogul forward same .v - with compressing it is about 90 to 115mg per file and will not overwrite if files havent changed - I always restore PIM first and see if i like the rom and then do aa full restore with rom upgrade or device upgrade depending on what i am trying to do - Never had and issue -

Re: Best backup program to use when flashing roms?
For free you can use PIM backup if you're only concerned backing up your contacts, texts, and email. For flashing roms, this is the only thing you should only restore anyway.
For full back up I use SPB. They have a new one out that's supposed to work better on wm6.5. For better intgration with your PC, download and install the exe file on your computer rather than just the cab file. It'll copy your backups to your PC this way incase your memory card gets corrupt or damaged later for some unfortunate reason. |
