Re: Weather tab only displaying State
There are several tweaks and fixes that have been discussed to correct this.
However, for me, just pulling the battery and putting it back in, power on, solves my weather issues when they arise.

My phone is also doing the same thing (Verizon, Energy Rom). I live right on the edge of city limits. Once I get in center of town it displays the city.

Well I recently traded in an Imagio for the TP2, and on that it was able to display the city I was in. I don't know why this would be any different.

Re: Weather tab only displaying State
Did you hit the menu soft key on your weather tab, then tap settings, then check the boxes for "Download weather Automatically" and "Download weather when roaming"?
If not, see if that helps kick it in. Also check to make sure your Location setting is set to "ON" and not e911. I'm sure you must have it on already, as you said Google maps is working. Most cutom roms have it on by Default anyway. But it can't hurt to check. To do so: Start>Settings>Personal>Phone>CDMA Services>Location Setting>Get Settings> Select Location ON Also, check to make sure, in your clock settings, that you have the correct Timezone. You may also need a provisioning .cab for your carrier, depending on your carrier and what rom you are using. |

Re: Weather tab only displaying State
if it cannto find your city, it defaults to county. if it cannot get the county either, it goes to state. amnd if it cannot figure that out. you get the plain old "My Location"
