How do I get my ROM name to show in device?

Caulkin changes it in his oemxipkernel or msxipkernel. But if your using his kitchen to cook your rom, you should leave it. At least give him some credit for putting all the hard work into making the kitchen.

I was never able to get the rom name (version) to show up in my device info... Tried all that I knew, personally.
