Re: now that u had some time was it wortht he $350 upgrade

Upgrade after contract renewal: $150

Mail in rebate: $100

TouchPro sold: $120

Getting Sprint to price match Verizon and getting $150 credit to the acc't and paying 80$ out of pocket....

Priceless

These threads always lean toward who paid the least for their phone. This is what? Maybe thread 100 for "I love my $5 TP21"

DOES this phone have a better windows experience then the TP?
I AM typing this on my hero and I hate on screen kb. Wish it came with android instead of windows

Re: now that u had some time was it wortht he $350 upgrade

Maybe I shouldn't have voted, since my upgrade was free. But had Sprint not agreed to do that, I was considering paying even more than $350 to upgrade (not eligible for another year). Having had it a few weeks now, I'm quite happy. It's not perfect, but especially as one of the few current smartphones that will let me keep my SERO plan, this phone is the only logical choice.

Re: now that u had some time was it wortht he $350 upgrade

i almost didn't get it as I had a tp and couldn't justify the cash outlay. I was with sprint(no upgrade option) and decided to jump ship to verizon paying etf of $200+$200 for the tp2 at verizon so $400 for me and it's worth every penny imho for me I'm speaking. This is the best wm phone I've ever had up to now, does what I need and does it well. No issues with it after 3 months. Love it.

Yes. And once you get used to the WVGA screen, it is hard to use anything smaller.

I cringe every time I have to use my wife's diamond!

Re: now that u had some time was it wortht he $350 upgrade

For me, simply because of the screen size, it was worth the upgrade. I can use this for full PDA duty, while I really couldn't with the TP. It was just too small. I still carried around an extra PDA (HP211), but now I am finally a one-device person.
