Re: [UPDATED] Sprint TV 100% working
Guys i have this same issue, now sure where it cropped up but its not the cabs, they set nothing at all related to email, the email inbox or any settings.
its something in the rom. mine included. thats causing the xmls not to set correctly

If I let the phone sit for a while after hard resetting without going to the email tab it seems to work fine.. (I know it worked when I get the new mail notifications) Out of every 5 hard resets about 2 have this issue.. Edit: After some further testing I must say that I do think something is wrong with the cab.. I'm not triying to blame anyone but to report in order to find a solutions.. Here's what I've done. I'm provisioning my exchange/pop/imap accounts thru xml (SDConfig) this worked without a hitch no previous MightyRom versions (I've flashed them all). Only on the latest version I'm getting the email problem. Another thing I noticed is that if I let the SDConfig run the cab for your provisioning when the device boots and I try to sync over the air with activesync it will prompt me for my password (it shouldn't, the password is on the xml) To confirm I removed the cab from the SDconfig file, hard reset again. This time the phone came on and I didn't ran the Mighty provisioning either.. ActiveSync works the first time I hit Sync without asking for my passord; the way it did on previous Mighty Rom versions. To further troubleshoot I performed the same steps as above, but before syncing I used the Mighty Rom provisioning tool and lo and behold, when I hit sync it asks for my exchange password. I tried using the Mighty provisioning cab, your cab (which I believe are the same) with the same results. I even hard resetted one more time without provisioning, did a sucesful sync (no password prompted, no issues). After that I used the Mighty provisioning tool and instantly I got the password prompt for my exchange account (since it's push). Sincerely I don't see anything that might be affecting this, but I do think is something on that cab. Isn't there a way to compare it with the previous one on Mighty's ROM to see what so different?? BTW, I'm using Mighty's rom so it's not your rom only. Just for the sake of it I've hard resetted my device 5 more times and exchange/pop/imap provisioning works as long as I don't use the sprint provisioning cab. on the last one, ran the mighty provisioning tool and the first thing i get when the device restarts is the exchange password pompt. (pop and imap work fine after this since they where already provisioned by SDConfig) tried it two more times installing the provisioning cab via SDConfig and I got the empty containers for the imap/pop and the prompt for exchange password. What I'm doing is provisioning everything via SDConfig, make sure the POP/IMAP accounts are created correctly and Active Sync syncs correctly.. THEN I run the provisioning tool (I still need to reenter my Excange password but everything works after). |

Re: [UPDATED] Sprint TV 100% working
ok
I am correct. installing the provisioning XML before the cab causes the mail app to drop the account, using fdcsoft task manager i re ran my xml and it fixes the mail account. What ill test is running the Provisioning cab before the xml in sdconfig next and see if this helps. but the work around for this mught be to use FDCsoft task manager to run the xml after sdconfig which isnt too bad. |

The first thing my SDConfig always ran first was the provisioning.. Altough I did noticed that this provisioning cab ask for a restart.. I don't know if the other one did too. Can you confirm if the previous provisioning cab asked for a restart too?? If I leave the provisioning cab alone on my SDConfig followed by my Exchange XML I get the password prompt for exchange, if I take the cab out and leave only the Exchange XML it will sync no problems, no pass asked. Re: [UPDATED] Sprint TV 100% working
I think the prl and profile update missing is what is causing me to not be able to download anything off of sprints website that I purchase running mightrom 11/16. Anybody else having the same issue

Re: [UPDATED] Sprint TV 100% working
Nah.. PRL is just a way to update your 'Preferred Roaming Lists' so when you are roaming you have any new towers added by Sprints roaming partners and the Update profile won't effect it either, you wouldn't have any connectivity to data if there was something wrong with your data profile.
