Any way to totally disable data on an ATT Tilt 2? - Page 2

I have another question data related... I currently use Garmin XT on my TP2 but I have no issues w/ internet since i have an unlimited data plan.

If he installs it on his phone, does garmin XT require data? He would install the map onto a storage card.

I have Garmin XT too, I think it only uses data for the traffic and weather stuff. I think it has an option to turn that off, or at least I remember when I installed it I was given the option whether I wanted the data on/off/prompt.
