I had issues activating my phone online, but no problems activating over the phone, SERO plan remains intact!

Does this topic still apply to new purchased of the TP2? I am on the SERO 500 and they're giving me the same story that I have to upgrade plans because the new phones "are not compatible"
I noticed that my online account would allow me to purchase the TP2 and the HTC Snap for my wife, should I expect any problems trying to use the online activation?

no problems will arise with online activation. i bought the phone from ebay and activated online by myself

Well my Touch Pro 2 arrived today and I was able to activate it without any issues at all, as well as my wife's HTC Snap.
I am on the SERO F&F 500 plan along with my wife just for reference incase anyone is in the same situation as me.
