upgraded to 6.5 and now phone freezes up

I cant say the phone never froze with 6.1 but ever since I put 6.5 on I have had to hard power down the phone more than once a week. I noticed my texts were adding up so I started clearing them out. Either way now the phone will freeze up and I can not change screens - anyone else havng this problem. I do have 4 email accounts and the htc weather thing running. But still I give it enough time to complete tasks and still freexing up - any ideas? Thanks...

how many emails in those acccounts?? having a ton is aknown issue for lagging.. i have 4 accounts 2, but never keep more than 3 or 4 msgs in each.. so its never an issue for me..

HTC weather animation- KILL IT! another one that slows the phone waaaay down.. sure it looks cool, but your making sacrifices by having it running

u have sprint so ill suggest that u flash to this 6.1 rom I'm running, its the sprint basics rom and its based off 6.1 build 21057, it has lots of free ram at boot,runs smooth,and I've only had 1 lockup

Mine started doing this on 6.1 so i upgraded to 6.5 since the phone was totally unusable. Now it does it at least once a day and requires a hard reset to fix. I brought the phone in to sprint and they ordered a new one. Same SH*T on this phone which is also 6.5. Im getting sick of having an unusable phone.

It's always HTC Sense UI that locks up. I havent found a way to disable this on 6.5, it was fairly easy on 6.1.

This just randomly started happening several weeks ago.

just switch to that rom, u won't be disappointed. 21057 seems to be the most stable build of all of the ones before it or after it. it also has the look and feel of a stock rom.

delete the pictures tab, and the music tab from sense.... that helps GREATLY.... i guessing that sense is trying to search for and load that data and thats part of the freezing... but im no expert lol

also deleting the txts/email tab helps too... sense overlays everything in 6.5.... it takes alot of digging to get thru sense.... hell even adding contacts or messing with the calendar.... sense makes you crop photos to set as contact pictures... windows mobile doesnt. the WM calendar did let you copy/paste appointments, but sense doesnt...

21057, which rom is that?

I had posted on another thread and someone suggested overclocking. So far so good on day #2. Only thing changed was another hard reset followed by the overclocking cab.
