wheres the cheapest place to buy one? Is ebay safe, even if it says NIB?

Ebay can be great....or it can be horrible. Best practice is to check a sellers rep first. Ive had good results with Ebay. You can also try wirefly, craigslist, hell even froogle

ebay is cool, just make sure the person you're buying it from has a good reputation. there was a thread about getting them for $80 with a new contract.

cheapest i could find on ebay was $400. I guess thats pretty good. I got my hero for 129 at best buy, gonna sell it and put the money towards a tp2 rather then return it and only have $129 towards a $450 phone.

Got my Palm Pre for $25 couple months ago thur online discounts and rebate. Sold it on Ebay for $225..and paid $300 for the TP2 on Ebay also. Overall, i got a deal and lucky in a sense. Very happy with the TP2.

Not sure where all of you are at but I got my HTC Touch Pro 2 (Sprint) for $375 with no contract =D> over her in Los Angeles, CA. I was done with my contract and have been month to month and didn't want to recommit for another 2 years. I even bought 2 because I was debating if I should add it to my 2nd line that I currently switched my HTC Touch PRO. So I have the 2nd one just laying there.. LMAO

You might try finding someone who has a business account as well. I bought mine from the place I work for for $350.
