Sprint PRL Updates (01119) Updated June 16, 2011

ya know. i do the PRL update often and each time i "update" it always says its found new data and the changes will be applied.. i cant believe the PRLs are getting updated this often.. i mean up until a couple years ago sprint would send out PRLs like once every half year or so and it was a BIG DEAL! posting threads and such.. now it seems they are released very often.... mmm i dont think so... the same things happens on my hero but the PRL version stays the same..

you guys, update your prl, then reboot, and try the update PRL again.. see if it says its found new data and will apply the changes...

dude its a known error on customs...prl update isnt working correctly.it rolls mine back to 54 ....read some of the latest rom threads. at least touch pro 2 ones. same as profile update will always say no update available. chefs are working on it.

if you also notice when it goes to update. it shuts radio off....but never turns back on....another error. you have to manually turn it on or reboot. either way it rolls back.

it basically comes down to the provisioning zip inside stock rom. which is password protected. we have all tried to crack....no one has had success so far...

Um works fine on my custom rom. Updates every time and sticks with no issues for me. You guys must be using garbage roms...

"dude", I just updated the PRL on my custom rom (CFay 1.1) and it worked fine, updated from 56 to 57. I used the PRL update cab on his thread, The only issue is that you have to restart the radios to get the update to take. (Just put it in and out of airplane mode.)

press +778 and check it cause it doesnt work on mighty s , energy's, or juggalo_x. so maybe cfay knows something they don't. but i even tried stock exe's from stock rom. was a no go on all mentioned above.

then again my device id says T7373 lol

##778# works on mighty ROM. you just have to install carrier provision cab is all.

what i meant was prl last i knew mighty said he was still working on it. because running update prl gave a "bootstrap error unable to obtain device id"
