Re: MS Bluetooth Stack in ROM upgrades
This isn't the only place the problem is being discussed. We talked about it here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ighlight=dodge when the TP2 first came out.
I agree that the Widcomm stack is a superior stack, I like a lot of the features it has. However, lack of handsfree control of my phone is a deal breaker. If I had to forsake everything the Widcomm stack offers just to regain basic functionality of the MS Stack, I'd do it. In fact, I just had a Moto Droid for a day. Found out that I cannot dial handsfree at ALL with it, unlike the TP2 which just has the delay issue. The Droid goes back. I can't live without handsfree. |

Re: MS Bluetooth Stack in ROM upgrades
I'd like to find some A2DP tweaks with this stack, personally.
With the MS stack, I could remove the bitpool settings and get perfect bluetooth audio. This stack seems to be throttling it as well (noticeable decrease in sound quality on my car stereo- on the Ms stack without bitpool, it was indiscernible from a wired connection). If I could find out where/how to tweak/fix that, I'd be perfectly content with the stack. Oh... also I'd love to make it stop giving me those "adjust headset volume on device" pop up messages when connecting to A2DP as well.
