i dont think you have used google maps doing 70mph down the freeway then, watch that baby try to catch up lol

the fact of the matter is the hardware does not poll the sats quick enough and some software compensates for that better then others. my iGO8 is still about 15 meters behind.

.
LOL, exactly.

My TP2 always lags behind my in-dash NAV unit (just like everyone else has noted)

Anybody who claims their TP2 has NO LAG doesn't know what to look for..........

Only tried google maps in rush hour. My Igo8 is a little behind but not enough to bother me. I never miss turns and it is usually spot on. Seems to keep up with my speed. The speedo is usually spot on. That little lag does not bother me at all. I am happy with the performance. Alot better than the original Touch Pro. Besides, it is a phone first so I have no problems with it. If it is that important I always got that Garmin Navi I got for Christmas.

Yeah I have heard. I ditched Tomtom a while back when I was on the Touch Pro/Diamond. Too much of a hassle for me. IGO8 is lovely. Nice variety of maps and pois. And it works without data connection(I think).
