Seidio Innocase Surface/Holster combo - Page 3

I have the same issue with the upper left hand corner for screen side of the case popping free. I called them the same day I received the item and they sent a replacement one out right away. The second one fit perfectly. This was the during the first week they they were available and I chalked it up to manufacturing defects/bad batch.

Fast forward to last week. Wifey was still on a TP1 so I upgraded her to the 2 and ordered the same innocase I have. Right out of the box it had the same issues as the first. A quick call to Seidio and they were sending a replacement out. Great customer service on their part but I am not overly thrilled that I have to go through 2 cases for each phone to get it right. Oh well 1 more innocase/holster order to do for when my father-in-law upgrades to the TP2 in the coming weeks.

I guess it's the luck of the draw? I got my seidio case the first week it was available, fit my TP2 perfectly.

Thank you to everyone for their feedback. I appreciate it.

I'm not one to put my phone on a holster or belt clip. I usually just put it in my pocket. Hence I normally just get a good screen protector and a good case. I'm using the original TELUS Clear Case and I'm pretty happy with it.

That being said, I'm quite interested in the Innocase as I've heard good things about it. Is it significantly better than the TELUS clear case I'm using? And also, since I don't use the holster, do I just order the surface case?

Any input would be much appreciated.

Well, got mine a few days ago and I really like it! Phone feels well protected and mine fit perfectly with no issues! I also purchased 2 of their screen protectors. Not as happy with them. They don't stick too well. The first one wouldn't stick around the edges, particularly on the top and when I placed the Innocase top piece on the phone, it buckled up and looked like crap. I took it off and put on the 2nd one. It works better, but still not perfect. I will buy some of the ones from Boxwave I guess.

As far as the Innocase and holster, they work great. Would recommend them to anyone!

Does anyone know why they stopped selling the spring LOCK holster? They should charge less if they are taking away features.

Actually I don't think they ever sold it in the first place. It was listed for pre-order, but before the initial orders went out, they informed people thet the clip was different. Not sure why they decided not to(probably cost).

As for the cost, the $49.99 price of the combo, as well as the price of the clip itself I think are the same as what the tp1 clip was, which wasn't a spring lock one either.

As an aside, I purchased the combo deal after my nice leather case broke(I can't return it cause I modified it... the modifications were unrelated to what broke). I received it this past Friday and I gotta say it is definitely worth it. I had one for my TP1 and while it worked well, I never liked the bulk it added. Well this time around they seem to have made it thinner because it doesn't seem to add much bulk to the phone at all. Plus it has a rubbery feel to it, which keeps it a bit "grippier" and less likely to slip outta your hand.

I am very impressed this time around.
