Re: GSM Roaming on Touch Pro 2 CDMA
Yes, I called in and had them activate my Sprint SIM card for roaming. I was more concerned that the non-stock ROM's would not have the proper APN settings for GSM Data Roaming. Not sure if the carrier cabs floating around have the extra GSM settings or if its even needed.
If I force the phone into GSM mode, there does not appear to be a connection set up pointing at the GPRS moden. I can create a new one but it asks for the APN, username, and password. Does anyone know what these are for Sprint? Sorry if this has been answered, but I was not able to find anything after searching. Thanks |

Re: GSM Roaming on Touch Pro 2 CDMA
Has anyone done GSM Data roaming with a stock Sprint SIM card yet. Did you end up with another connection pointing to the GSM modem?

Re: GSM Roaming on Touch Pro 2 CDMA
Is that $40 plan voice and data or just data? Wondering if that is the better way to go vs. local prepaid when traveling.

Re: GSM Roaming on Touch Pro 2 CDMA
The $40 plan is only for data. Sprint did confirm that the plan is prorated and you can turn it on for a partial month, and only pay for that period of time.
