Im not feeling it at all! My major dislike is the spacing between the soft keys. I have no idea why they would not keep the soft keys evenly spread apart - far left/far right. Im all for advancement but not if it is an eye sore (my opinion). It would be nice if you could toggle between the standard 6.5 and the 6.5.1 layouts so that everyone could be satisfied.

I'd agree with you. Maybe if the start button was in the center and the other two were off at each said it'd be better, but I think this is a huge step back.

I also agree with a previous commenter saying that with SenseUI there is too much going on...

Astetics aside, I think having it on the bottom is more user friendly especially as devices get bigger screens. As it was pointed out already - TP2 screen is already making it uncomfortable with task bar on top for some. Now imagine doing it on something like Leo with even a bigger screen. It is also a step in the right direction in terms of finger-friendliness. So I personally like it very much. They could make it a bit smaller and a bit prettier; but hey, it's Microsoft not Apple.

However, I still love this change and once the code will get more stable and faster, I am switching and never looking back.

I hated it very much... Thought it was ugly... WTF is this, it's crap... Then I used it and fell in love. I will never flash a 6.1 or 6.5 rom on my TP2 again.

It is the best thing MS did. Definatly something that should be a setting though.

I agree 100%.

I'm not against the idea of having the X button etc on the bottom where it's easier to reach, but the butt-ugly way they did it looks like it was thrown in as an after thought by somebody who was clueless about coding to me....

So here is a challenge - we hear either "I like it" or "I hate it". However, with so many creative folks on this forum, noone is proposing a better alternative?? Would be nice to see a mock up of a more "perfect" interface from someone

I definitely think it's a step in the right direction, but just bad in its current state.
