Is there a way to to make the shift and number work as FN+numbers ?

Exactly, that's why I said I don't think it can be done even with that app. But keep playing with it anyway...especially if you miss your CTL+C/X/V/A, or would like to map your vol up/down keys to the old style d-pad up/down keys except in the phone or mp3 player app, and so on. It's pretty cool.
