Its so annoying... cause on the computer you press shift to get the symbols... and here it wants the FN key....

Any chance you posted this in the wrong forum? Looks like you use a Treo Pro? Most, if not all of the Touch Pro 2's have a dedicated number row :)

Gotcha. I was basing my response on the fact your profile showed you as a Treo Pro user at the time you posted that, not TP2 like it does now ;)

I don't think you can reassign the keys like you're suggesting. There is a fantastic keyboard mapping tool, Rhodium Keyboard Controller, which is what the previous poster pointed you to. I've just checked it, but I don't think it's capable of doing this either.

ok installed the keyboard thingy... but where do you run it ? i dont see it in my programs list ? :-\

Settings | System. Odd I know, but it's configured a setting tool I guess and not an app.

But you know ... it doesn't let you do 2 keys at once besides FN+key
