It looks like it hangs if I check off "close apps before backup"

If I don't check it, it does proceed to save, but detailed description after the backup says there were few problems logged. I have no clue that the logged problems are though.

Yes i make sure all my apps are closed and i proceed to full backup to sdcard and 3 min i have 100% full backup on sdcard i have done full restore 4 times and it was like nobody touched my phone...

it is amazing for windos 6.1 and htc tp 2

again this is my opnion my findings after i tried all three backup programs...

SPB was best in class

I have been using SPB since my xv6800 days & I don't think it's ever frozen on me once, I wonder why this happens to other people??

I have done TONS & TONS of restores & it has worked perfectly for me, I don't ever worry about it anymore.

KrisK91, PM me for the Sprite cab but I don't think it is as good as SPB........

Re: Best software for a 'real' backup

this is one thing I never did...so I have a couple of noob questions...

Sprite or SPB...restores ALL your data? Meaning regedits, manila tweaks, programs (installed?), program settings (provided the app has been installed at the same place as before?)

side effect from backup files from different ROM's (ie: 6.5 to a 6.5.1 OR 6.1 to a 6.5?)

I just back up my contacts, calendar and email thru m.google.com with outlook and activesync...I flash enough to cause seizures...and I was willing to deal wiht manually customizing because it gives me time to "love" my phone (OK! I have issues...but who here doesn't right?)

I wouldn't mind having some help in backing up the phone...esp after a hard reset.

PIM only for contacts, but I don't even use that anymore, Microsoft MyPhone or copy your contacts to the SIM!
