disabling new unread email notifications for gmail/activesync in 6.5(6.1 reg no work)

I tried the common 6.1 reg tweak to change the default value from zero to another number in wm6.5 and it did not stop the messages coming through. With the mightyrom it actually seemed to have some weird errors. Anyone have the exact registry setting for this in 6.5 please?

On another note I tried eliterom yesterday and onces I did a clear storage after the initial load (removed system lags) I will say I think I might finally have the perfect home screen setup. Loaded spbmobile shell and now I have default home screen switching between legacy home screen with todayagenda, weatherpanel which shows wind speeds and email accounts. Then two mobile shelll screens with all my commonly used apps and utilities to change screen brightness, turn off display, turn on bluetooth on one tap, etc... If I need something else I tap the spmobile shell app launcher. I need to test it for a few days but I went to bet with a hopeful smile last night...

hoping I can get that annoying email message notification today...
