You'll find Scott's rom in the Scrossler thread. He's the only one with a 6.1 Kitchen at the moment.

Cooking for 6.1 is equivalent as to wanting to use 6.0 when 6.1 was released...

6.1 is history

old news.. 6.5 is official, there's no going back

sprint and verizon finally released 6.5 for their devices? I never got that memo.

I know mike....but 6.1 has the advantage of running so smoother and definitely with less RAM use , It is a fully mature OS, you yourself noticed the stock ROM and how stable and fast It was .
I really respect your your work and like your products ....but I have my opinion , once your WM6.5 ROMs reaches the speed of your famous 4.16 . in WM6.1 I am gonna change my opinion. but there is too much to do to reach the 4.16 ROM.

I've also got an old Compaq iPaq lying around if you want to rock WinCE 2002, now there's a screaming OS!

and yes, it is actually an HTC device and there are other, optimized WinCE 2002 ROMs available for it.... totally better looking than 6.5, and faster too.... mmmmm......

It uses far much less RAM than 6.0 or 6.1 does too, only due to the fact that it's such an old OS there weren't devices available with more RAM, same reason it's got a 100MHz processor.... Times change, things get faster with more RAM, therefore developers can make use of it.... quite a concept I know, but you don't see me running my copies of Windows 1.1 either, even though I would have a lot more system resources at my disposal over my Windows 7 install....

i have a better suggestion for you as you are going backward too much .....get yourself a flip phone with 2 buttons only , one to call and one to terminate the phone call and with the tire to dial from 1 thru 9. then at least you will leave this forum and join the flip phones forum , then we do not have to listen to your smart opinions !.hahahahahahahahaha
